Whilst my partner and I edited this we were concerned a lot with Levi Strauss' binary opposites theory. We appealed to binary opposition by the photo being clearly shot in the daytime and this factor being emphasised by the high saturation versus the title "All Night", and secondly on the double page the road crossing beacon has an overlaying icon of a devil however on the track listing page she is wearing an illustrated cross round her neck. I think that a lot of hiphop artists including Chance The Rapper claim christianity and wear cross neckless however create songs and videos which advocate unchristian things and in their lifestyles promote 'sin-ful' actions like drugs or promiscuity. This norm among hiphop artists encouraged this binary opposite.
Also an aim of my team during this project has been to incorporate un-european unconventional beauty and so this is what prompted me to draw the baby hairs on the models forehead.
