Via my analysis of other CD advertisement post I learnt that CD Advertisement usually has a portrait photo of the artist and also the photo is the album cover. The problem that arose with this convention is that our album cover is an extreme longshot, not a portrait photo. My team member and I unaminiously agreed that the longshot looked more visually pleasing as an advert, however after recieving feedback from one of our peers we found it doesn't clearly resemble a music advert, which a close up would, therefore we have chosen that both posters will be used to promote the album.
We have been consistent with our concept of doodles because we feel that if our music video includes them then we need to keep the theme strong throughout. We also replicated the text and filter from the digital package for the same reason.
My partner and I really like these covers because even though they're vivid in colour and includes the illustrations, it still maintains a simplicity and minimalism.
